You all know each other and Evelyn Flaumel. Some of you have probably worked together for one thing or another.

Sherlock Holmes (if he's not a PC then he's died recently) was sought out by Evelyn. He found most of the rest of you. You were reasonably sure you were relatives. DNA testing has proved you to be half-siblings.

Even Holmes was never able to find your father due to a truly astounding series of coincidences.

It's more than likely that some of you are responsible for the elimination of all but the most well-behaved of supernatural creatures.

What you all know of Evelyn Flaumel: She's the oldest of you. She's ungodly rich and owns a number of useful companies (import/export, information brokers, etc.) and has an number of agents who are very loyal to her. She's an artist, an actress (in small productions this last century), an excellent linguist (fluent in at least a dozen languages), frequently involved in some romantic attachment or another and the best hostess you've ever met. And extremely good-looking in a Western, athletic, 20th Century kind of way. She's very protective of her privacy and her people. She has three or four cover identities and half a dozen residences at any given time.
