A Note in Andre’s Journal

1.I had an interesting chat with Random today. I also sat in on Selene’s debriefing. She is acting strangely. But enough of that. Apparently Caine was able to obtain a sample of the blood creature used to enable use of a black road. Random wants me (and Fiona) to investigate altering and making more for Amber’s uses. She will use her sorcerous methods, I will tackle it from a shapeshifting perspective. This should prove interesting!

2. So far so good. It took a while but I have made substantial progress and have gotten the bloodbeast to reproduce correctly. I consumed one and am adjusting my body to learn how to make them myself. Rather unpleasant at first, but my progress outstripped what Fiona could do. My versions seem to be more of Pattern and therefore more easily controlled by us. We will test it shortly.

3. We traveled to Bleys encampment deep in shadow. A black road was nearby and we tested the creature’s ability to influence it. Success! Bleys was very interested and wants some for his scouts. The next step is to find suitable hosts, i.e.fanatics we can use for our purposes. Fiona will take care of that. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with it.

4. When time finally permitted, I checked in with my bodyguards. The loss of the brother has made the sister a bit on the grim and determined side. I also worry a bit about the effect of glamour on her sanity. I must remember to keep an eye on her.
