I needed a break, so I headed off to visit the dragons for a bit. I wanted to learn the whole making a shadow path bit, and I think I have it down now. I ran a path from the former Adept's mountain to the dragon's new abode so that they may return quickly if they are needed.

I had promised myself I would pay another visit to the shadow where we practiced the ward- trashing to see how the obnoxious mages were doing. They are certainly more paranoid now. We stirred the pot nicely I must say. I poked around a bit and began investigating the whole culture. There is some sort of gate leading to "the Empire", so I decided to check it out as well.

I identified a likely mid tier sorceress to recruit and came to her aid. It was a little painful killing the hot fire elemental that was checking things out, but fun nonetheless. The sorceress is your typical power hungry type that I should be able to control with a combination of carrot and big stick. Not the sort of person I necessarily want to depend on, but certainly useful under controlled conditions. I am bringing her out of the shadow and exposing her to the wider reality. We'll see how it goes.
