Deirdre wandered in a year after the others. The Unicorn had saved her but she was a long time healing from the wounds suffered in the Abyss. She has recently taken on Caine’s old job as Admiral of the East. Corwin kidnapped her and took her to Argent as his mind-frelled concubine. Mykal, Jade and Andre rescued her. Her compulsions were easily dissolved outside of Argent; she led some of the forces arrayed against Corwin and spent some time trying to hunt him down and kill him. She eventually caught him, but merely wounded him as she had learned of Greyswandir's fault in messing with their minds.

She has a son, Tyler.
