(Not general knowledge.) A family of dopplegangers serves Random as they did Oberon and Eric. Their shapeshifting powers vary, but most are limited to humanoid forms. They all train as spies, most as field agents. In their natural forms they are very pale, with white or white-blond hair, but on them it looks healthy. 'Old John', Oberon's top troubleshooter, is actually an alias used by several of them from time to time.
