I like my new weapons and chat with mom about capturing the logrus user. Mom disappears for a day and arrives with a girl named Harmony. She looks like one of her parents was an octopus, as she has all kinds of tentacles coming out of her head. Mother explains that she is a sensitive, and can feel the use of pattern and other magic. We are not sure about her feeling the logrus, so we call up dad. He and mom talk for a while on trump and mom mutes each of us in turn. Pretty cool trick, I wonder if Mykal can do that. A deal is struck between the two, and it seems that I will be going to do a job for dad in chaos. More than likely, I will be teaching Mandor a lesson. Not looking forward to that.

We go out to shadow, and Harmony can definitely pick up feeling the logrus power. I also practice her form, and can feel the different powers. It’s real distracting in Rebma, but I eventually learn how to filter out the powers that I do not want to feel. We gather an entourage of sorcerers and guards and start searching. I can feel that we have all just been scanned and that elementals have relayed the message to someone. The sorcerers are upset, and go back to the castle to re-outfit themselves. We continue and eventually a group of clear jellyfish start to attack Harmony’s sent. I shift to her form, exaggerating her scent so they will attack me instead. Harmony and I eventually feel a slight usage of the logrus. I send Harmony back to my mother, and return to my form, but keep the sense up that allows me to track the logrus.

We eventually end up at an abandoned building that is being refurbished. We go in, it’s dark and large spikes that have been shot through a hole in the ceiling attack us. I swim up the center, then go out a window, and make my way to a room from the outside where I sense the logrus. Through the window a woman shoots something at me that shatters it. I swim through and shoot 2 poisonous needles at her. She swims around the corner and I follow. Just as I round the corner, I shoot two more as she is pulling up the logrus. One of the needles hit her in the neck and she is bleeding all over the place, and her blood turns to fire. She starts to pull the logrus up again, and I pull up pattern defense. It seems that she had attempted to put a logrus curse on me, but failed. I’ve go to love the pattern defense. I start to trump mother, but she is already contacting me and coming through. This logrus master is now dead. I bite into her flesh, so I may take her form later, and see if my father recognizes her. As I do this the sorcerers approach along with the guards and are disgusted. I smile, and mother explains to them that this is how I learn new forms. The body burns away, and now I have to prepare for my new mission.
