Kwai is a Chinese-looking pale fellow standing 6'10" tall. He is bound to the Great Weapon Doombringer, a two-handed greatsword that radiates hate and eats souls.

Kwai desires to break the connection or convince Doombringer to attach itself to someone else. Brand has promised to help.

Update: Dead in the assault on the Jen-Wan. All the other Great Weapons were highly protective of their wielders; not so Doombringer. They scored the first serious hit on the trilocated monster but Kwai was cut in half. He got a hero's funeral in his homeland.

Doombringer was buried in a desolate shadow and the shadow cut off from everything else.
