Llewella is the result of Oberon scheming to bring Rebma under the rule of his bloodline and Queen Moins scheming to get a Pattern adept for Rebma. Oberon didn't do well with his daughters -- not that he got on with any of his sons either -- but Moins was a good mother and Moire a good sister and Oberon was screwed.

Llewella grew up during the period when Dworkin was giving Oberon's children a more thorough education in Pattern, Magic and Trump. She took full advantage of it.

Llewella spearheaded the exploration and laid down the Rebman trade network. She maintained it. She was Rebma's only Trump Artist. She did much of what was split between her nine brothers and three sisters in Amber, on a smaller scale, true, but alone. She is a decent general as well as a Pattern master, Trump Artist, sorcerer, conjuror and, recently, Glamour initiate.

She is friendly with Deirdre and Gerard, fairly close to Martin, gets along well with her daughter Jade.
