Jounal Entry 27

The past few weeks have been crazy hectic.

After the rescue of Gerard, the rescue attempts of the other family members came with shorter and shorter breaks in between. It seems like I have walked that dang pattern nearly half a dozen times in a couple dozen days.

The family has been successful in rescuing Gerard, Llewella (with a dozen others), Martin (held by House Bariman in Chaos), and Jade (insane from something). We also determined that Bleys is not trapped (he is in Avernus and seems to have memory problems), Fiona is dead (captured by the Serpent and tortured, Dworkin had to put her out of her misery), Caine and Andre seem to be brains-in-jars, Tyler is unreachable along with Dierdre, and King Random has become One with the Pattern and the Universe.

The way to the Primal Pattern is blocked, Corwin and I attempted to reach it one day, with no luck. (Corwin was dragged back to Amber by Sam, and I hear he was told in no uncertain terms to get with the program concerning his daughter Melissandra.)

Mel helped with the last few rescues, that mirror Jewel gives her immense power. And it came in handy several times, we would still be trying to recover from the second or third rescue if we hadnt had it available and her willing to use it.

Plans are in the works for a sail toward Chaos, not sure what all it will cover, but a G2 on the Chaos realms seems a good idea. We have no idea how bad they were hit by the unordering of the universe. Archie has been researching poison effects and such for the trip, and trying to organize for all possibilities along the trip.

Sam is recovering nicely, she trumped Fiona and got a link to unbearable agony. She nearly scratched her own eyes out before Gerard and I got to her. She broke her own wrists in Gerards grip as he held her hands from her face. I had to smack her twice to put her unconsious so we could take her to Rebma for healing. (my own hand has recovered well, still twinges sometimes but seems to be at full strength)

King Random seems to be gone, Dworkin didnt admit to knowing any way of recovering someone who has merged with the pattern. (he showed up and helped heal Sam, then gave Fiona her final mercy). Seems like a long shot but i'll have to ask the Unicorn if she knows a way.

Rest is highest on my priority list currently, though I do need to rebuild Naipon soon, i have a few enhancements i'd like to make since I have the opportunity.
