Queen Moire ruled Rebma for over 1000 years. Much of that time was spent opposing Oberon's plans to supplant her with her half sister Llewella. Moire went out of her way to be a good sister and formed a lasting bond. Oberon treated all his daughters poorly. It wasn't much of a contest, though he never gave up.

All of Moire's several children but her last died before she did. Morganthe produced one child (Martin) with Random of Amber. [Melissandre]? was 15 when Moire died protecting Rebma against the wave of chaos that followed Oberon's repair of the Primal Pattern.
