Shapeshifting is more of a mix’n’match power. Shapeshifting is organic. You can’t become steel, or a gas, or flame. Not without dying, anyway. Once you’ve assumed a form you tend to stay that way, with certain exceptions.

Each shapeshifting trick costs 5 points:
  • SS Wounds
    • Combat Form
    • Automatic SS
    • SS Parts
      • SS Internal Structures
        • SS Creatures of Blood
          • SS Others with your blood
          • Grant SS powers with your blood
      • SS Facial Features
        • SS Disguise
    • SS to Animal Forms
      • SS to Animal Abilities
      • SS Aura

  • Wounds lets you seal wounds fast; more or less the equivalent of modern first aid
    • takes seconds to minutes, depending on the wounds
  • Combat form = fast shift to a particular form, usually armored, fanged, clawed.
    • takes seconds
  • Automatic = fast adaptation to environmental extremes or toxins
    • tens of seconds; seconds for practiced, moderate toxins
  • Parts includes things like hair and skin color.
    • takes tens of seconds
  • Internal Structures lets you move your organs around, add new ones, duplicate them and employ a Regenerative Trance: heal at 10x your normal rate. Note that accelerated healing takes a LOT of nutrients and you can kill yourself -- starve to death -- if you screw up.
    • takes minutes to hours
  • Creatures of Blood = making creatures out of your blood. Creature design is learned and/or absorbed (eaten). Note that you'll need Animal Abilities to mix'n'match.
    • takes minutes; a few seconds for practiced, small ones
  • Others = program blood creatures to fix or modify other creatures. More or less like nanites.
    • tens of seconds to program the blood, minutes to days for the effects
  • Grant powers = modify people enough to make them shapeshifters or potential psychics/mages.
    • as for Others
  • Facial Features = able to mimic specific people; must be maintained.
    • tens of seconds for a new look, seconds for a practiced one
  • Disguise = maintain a disguise even if sleeping or knocked out.
  • Animal Forms = assumed learned (ingestion helps) animal forms; you have to learn how to deal with each one.
    • tens of seconds for a practiced form, tens of minutes for a new one
  • Animal Abilities = 1) know how to deal with an animal form, 2) shift complex parts -- senses, some brain mods, antigrav organs.
    • tens of seconds to minutes, depending on complexity and practice
  • Aura = alter your magical/psychic aura. Your personality will change some. This effectively blocks all Trumps made of the normal persona/aura.
    • seconds for a practiced change, tens of seconds otherwise
